Cincinnati-based naturalist interested in insects, fish, plants, birds. I make most of my observations in and around my neighborhood, but also travel elsewhere in Ohio. I use a Nikon P900 and an Olympus TG-6. Outside of my interests in nature, I am interested in immigration history, diaspora studies, lingustics and ethnology, particularly in Latin America.

Recently, I've become enthralled by the fascinating world of galls, and I'm currently doing everything I can to learn more about them.
