I work as a botanist and vegetation ecologist and get to work and play all over our amazing state. I have a master's degree in biogeography, minor in plant geography, from UC Davis. My specialties are floras of the Sierra and Mojave, but I have experience and familiarity with plants all over California and try to learn new plants wherever my travels take me. I'm also an amateur birder and a certified California Naturalist. I love to hike and get out in wild nature as often as possible.
