I live in Bologna (Italy) where I got my degree in Biological Science, and where I worked as a teacher. I have showed a keen interest in entomology since childhood. I studied especially the moth fauna of the Bolognese area with in-depth field research. I was a member of the “Forum Herbulot” (an international scientific community aiming to study the Geometridae family) since its founding and as the main author I have published two volumes about the Italian species of the Ennominae subfamily, moreover I also published other papers on Lepidoptera Heterocera (moths).
