Aspiring botanist with a keen interest in the orchids of Africa and in particular the summer rainfall areas of South Africa. Based in Pretoria, South Africa with a good knowledge on the orchids of Gauteng. It is my mission to find all the species documented within the province, I have currently found and photographed 48 orchid species within the borders of Gauteng; with a goal to find the remaining taxa previously recorded within our borders. Currently I'm also working on finding Streptocarpus species across their range to photograph the various species in their natural habitat and document the various ways they grow, from forested gorges to rocky hills and under rocks.
